I’m Natalie King, and I’ve dedicated my life to helping people reduce and manage anxiety through a holistic approach to mental wellness. Drawing from both personal experience and professional training, I blend techniques from philosophy, psychology, yoga, and acting to create a well-rounded and effective path to healing. I had the unique opportunity to study directly with Wim Hof in Poland, where I learned his powerful methods of controlled breathing and cold exposure to build resilience and mental strength. Today, I combine these practices to guide individuals toward greater calm, clarity, and confidence in their everyday lives.

How It All Started.
My interest in teaching anxiety relief began early in life. As a second grader, I realized my breathing differed from my peers’. While sitting uncomfortably in class, I noticed that I couldn’t get air into my belly as easily as the other kids.
This unsettling experience of struggling to breathe and feeling disconnected from my own body sparked a lifelong quest to understand and manage anxiety. It was during these formative years that I first became aware of the profound impact anxiety could have on one’s ability to function and feel at ease in the world.

Personal Challenges with Mental Health
Throughout my life, I faced debilitating anxiety that often left me feeling trapped and disconnected from my true self. This anxiety was so overwhelming that it clouded my ability to access my own intelligence and respond appropriately to everyday situations. My system was constantly in a state of fight-or-flight, reacting to ordinary events like phone calls, emails, and presentations as if they were existential threats.
This intense internal struggle made it difficult to know myself or trust my responses, which led me to seek ways to reclaim my mental clarity and emotional stability.

Gaining Expertise
To understand and manage my anxiety, I pursued a wide range of studies. I initially turned to acting, hoping it would teach me how to pretend to be okay and manage my emotional responses. This led to a deeper exploration of philosophy and psychology, where I sought theoretical and practical insights into the human mind and behavior. Additionally, I became a yoga instructor, learning how physical movement and mindfulness can foster mental calm and resilience. Ultimately, these diverse interests converged when I trained with Wim Hof. His method, which combines breathing exercises, cold exposure, and mindset training, provided me with practical tools to manage anxiety and enhance my overall well-being. This comprehensive training allowed me to integrate various modalities into a cohesive approach for teaching others how to achieve mental clarity and emotional balance.

Applying Knowledge to Your Needs
In my workshops, I blend all these elements to address the specific needs of each participant. My background in acting helps me teach how to project confidence and manage emotional responses. My studies in philosophy provide a framework for understanding the deeper aspects of mental health, while my experience in yoga offers practical techniques for physical and mental alignment. The Wim Hof Method, with its emphasis on breathing and resilience, serves as a cornerstone of my approach.Together, these disciplines allow me to offer a holistic, science-backed approach to managing anxiety. I focus on creating new neural pathways through habit formation and provide tools for self-regulation that are both effective and grounded in personal experience. Whether you’re seeking to enhance your creative expression or achieve a harmonious balance between body and spirit, I am here to guide you with empathy, insight, and practical strategies tailored to your unique journey.

Sharalyn Lehman began her cold water immersion journey after the death of her mother in the winter of 2021. The cold was a place to process her grief and allow it to transform her life and her relationship to others and the earth.
Sharalyn has a BA in Biology from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts and a healthcare MBA from UC Irvine.
After working in women’s healthcare for 10 years, she moved with her family to the San Juan Islands. There, her love of yoga, dance, and fitness found expression in teaching movement and Pilates. With Polestar and BASI method certifications she found the tools to begin helping people connect with their body. The past decade has been a journey of exploration as she sought ways to tailor Private Sessions to each of her clients that speaks to their challenges and strengths.
In 2019, she found The GYROTONIC® Method, and this was the catalyst for a transformative advance in her relationship with movement and proved to be an essential tool for improving people’s lives.
She loves the outdoors and cherishes her time cold plunging in Puget Sound and hiking San Juan Island.
